Late August and September derailed the organization in my life. I served as matron of honor in two weddings, we traveled, we got a new puppy , the kids went back to school, Elizabeth started piano lessons again, Greg's students returned to campus, I gained a few pounds, Bible study slipped a bit, my workout routine was non-existent, the laundry piled up and I was exhausted.
So, this month came and I had a choice - keep going at light speed or slow down and get settled. I chose the later. I've stopped answering the phone when I have work to be done, I've spent less time online, I've started getting up earlier to have quiet time and I've recommitted myself to reading, walking and savoring what is important.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2
