I returned from traveling last week and found our new home to be coming right along. Our wood floors were installed, sanded and stained. They are nice and warm, without being too dark. I am happy.
The kids bath tile went in too.
The kids' bathroom vanity arrived and is currently in ERHs bedroom. I brought in the shower curtain to be sure it went well with the wood.
The kitchen cabinets and mudroom cabinets are in the garage, awaiting install. I am excited to see it all in the house.
All of it, gorgeous. I, of course, never doubted that it would be anything less than that. I'm a sucker for 1-inch hex tiles, so I cannot wait to see the bathroom completed. I immediately recognized that fabric for your curtain! I wanted that for my bedroom duvet, but it was all sold out. What color are you painting the walls in that bathroom? (Do you see? I am on the edge of my seat....) .And look at that tee-tiny girl in that great big room ... looks like she needs some roller skates! ;o)

They did a beautiful job! I love the wall color, too.

The inside of your house is looking great! I love the tiling work on your bathroom floor! The design makes the floor look like a honeycomb, which is quite a fancy design. Do other bathrooms in the house also have this design, or are they different from one another? Either way, I would love to see how they look.

The tile floors for your kids seem to be a great option since they're easier to clean. Kids just love to spill things on the floor on what they call as "accidents", and this particular type of flooring will surely make it easier for you to clean up the mess.

What a beautiful space you have here! The wood flooring for this space fills the room with an elegant sheen. This will be a great complement to the furniture you chose. I am very envious that you found such a beautiful place to call your own. Keep up the great work!

Swing-out carriage-house doors or sliding barn doors are a good choice for garage doors, if you need to keep the ceiling clear or if you want their distinctive look. Otherwise, the most popular option by far is the sectional roll-up door. I had a new idea from your post.
