(my apologies for the terrible lighting in this photo)
I made it through my first week on Ideal Protein and lost 6.8 pounds! I felt good, had no side effects and followed the rules strictly. I lost 1 inch around my arms and 1 inch around my bust and a 1/2 inch around my thighs. My waist remained the same.
My favorite part about this is that is it easy. You don't count points and there are not very many choices, which helps me. I've realized if I have choices, I tend to cheat. I am not sure why.
Today was my first challenge. A friend invited me to lunch. I told her that I wouldn't be able to eat anything but I would love to drink water and catch up with her. When I got to lunch, the other ladies joining us really wanted me to eat. I stood my ground and did not cheat but I wanted to BADLY. I love eating out. I think I am willing to do this because I know I won't need to be this strict forever, just a few weeks.
For those of you who commented that you are doing your own nutritional program, let me know how it goes! I love knowing we are all in this together.
You look great, Maria! Wow! 6.8 lbs, that is awesome!
I am still going strong! Haven't missed a day of walking, and my clothing is looser. Have not weighed myself again, because I'm just doing it once per week. I am doing weightwatchers points online. There are many foods I cannot eat for other reasons, so a further restricted diet is too hard. But I am so happy you have found a program that works for you!

Hi, Can you tell me a bit about Ideal Protein? Or is there a site that I can check out for details?
Thanks.

Congratulations! I'm glad that you are finding your new program doable. Starting anything new - especially FOOD-wise - can be so difficult. God will bless your endeavor to take care of the body He gave you.
You are too cute, by the way! ;o)

Good for you! I love using all natural whey protein because it doesn't give you that bulky muscular look. I have been a habitual user and think that it is one of the best fitness supplements on the market.
